Hey all,

We just started assembling all the forms and evidence for the K-1 Visa, and We chose to have 3 different small binders to send. One for the I-129F and official forms such as letter of intents to marry etc. The second one is proof of our trips within 2 years. ( We've had 8 in 2 years so this folder is decently bigger than the others with itineraries and boarding passes etc.) and finally the last one consists of proof of an ongoing relationship ( chat logs, etc ). We're having problems with just organizing certain aspects as we don't want to mess anything up and probably over thinking a few things.

For the Trip binder we are using a small 3 ring binder, and we plan on organizing based on same items instead of per trip since we have 8. Such as all itineraries in one spot and boarding passes in another, however we don't know if it would be best to use tabs to split this up for organization or possibly using a paperclip and putting all of them into 1 sheet protector to avoid the sheets from bending.

Any help or suggestions would be great and Thanks!!

3 binders? A little tricky for USCIS to deal with. I'd rather use 1 binder for the whole package, just divide it with tabs and put the numbers of the tabs in the cover letter to let them know what is where.

No need to have things tabbed, etc. it will all be torn apart and scanned in once received. I absolutely wouldn't have three separate binders either. (Just my opinion) May result in receiving an RFE if one of the binders in the set is lost or misplaced (highly likely if packet is separated like this as they receive hundreds of apps daily I'm sure). Best to keep it all together and send it in clamped together with one if those large binder clips. They will look through everything and organize it how they so choose. The only thing I would be focused on is having all needed docs, completely filled out as needed and the correct amount of the payment. :-). Congrats and best of luck with everything! It's a crazy journey but oh so worth it <3

Awaiting Oath Ceremony for Citizenship! Last step!

Agree with the others, skip the binders, have it all bound with one large binder clip. Secondly, we had 19 visits, but we did NOT provide proof on all 19. We provided proof on two or three - just make sure the trip(s) were in the last two years. After the primary i129f form paperwork, we had a "cover sheet" listing all the documentation to follow that we were providing. In that we stated something to the effect of "proof of travel provided here is a representative sample but not a comprehensive collection of all trips made to visit one another."
