Visa issuance taking too long after interview.. WHY??

the american consul was very nice. he made me laugh and feel at ease when i told him im really nervous.

so i should only count the business days? because people were saying i should also count weekends. (and yeah, i kind of check my status few hours apart. lol)

Dont forget you have to go back to CFO office and have them put their sticker in your passport before you leave.

Given the amount of visas coming out of the Philippines, in part due to this expedite nonsense, they're quite busy, so it will probably take a bit before they get to the issuance stage. They can get backlogged just like every other part of the process.

It took us 9 business days to receive the visa. I think it was in 'issued' status after 7 or so. And that was in June. Patience grasshopper.

thanks everyone for all the answers, i really appreciate it. i just checked with the ceac again and still ready but im somehow ok with it now because of you guys.. I'll just hope and pray that i'll get my visa within this month. <3

i think ive been stressing out myself too much since we got approved and i have to set for the medical/interview. lol
