hi everyone.. so i had my interview last Feb.27.. I asked the consul if i was approved or denied, he said "congratulations you are approved.. you can take a sit and wait for your number to be called." when i went home, i checked my visa status (yes, i was that excited)it says "READY, your case is open.. check after 2 days.. so i waited.. but still no changes. it's been like what, more than 10 days but still no changes on my visa status when i checked at ceac. most of the other ladies i had the same interview date with either got their passport on hand or got an AP status. I wasnt under 221g so i dont understand why it's taking them so long to make a decision about my case.. it's starting to get me worried if there is something wrong with my papers or something.. is this normal? how long do i still have to wait for my status to change from ready to issued.

Hello guys we are on the same stage. I had an interview here in Riyadh consulate office on February 25, 2014 and I got approved but the status still ready, until now there is no change in CEAC. Don't worry they will issue your visa soon. I heard sometimes it takes within a month to get your visa stamp in your passport. Good luck to us.

Congrats!! dancin5hr.gif

Very cool also that you were told approved by the CO they don't say that usually.

It has only been 6 business days since your interview... relax, just need to be patient a little longer and keep checking your status daily (not hourly wink.pngsmile.png )

For tracking info you can follow the flashing arrow below this post.

Did you complete CFO before the interview or are you doing that after you get your visa?

You are approved, you are just in AP status. It could be for a number of reasons, for my fiancee it was because St.Lukes forgot to forward her medical exam results in a timely manner. She had her interview around the 6th, but was in AP status for like 3 weeks, almost a month.

Don't stress, you will get your visa in the mail soon!

thank you..

the american consul was very nice. he made me laugh and feel at ease when i told him im really nervous.

so i should only count the business days? because people were saying i should also count weekends. (and yeah, i kind of check my status few hours apart. lol)

ive had my CFO before i had my interview

Embassy isn't open on the weekends so nothing is progressing on those days.

Very soon... just a little more patience.

It's been only 6 working days. It took us 7 or 8 working days before we could pick up the packet at 2Go at MOA. Sometimes it takes longer.

God Bless
