What to bring to SSN office as K1 holder?

Hello,

What do you guys bring to the SSN office to apply for the new SS card as a K1 visa holder (my fiancee)?

Here is what I am going to bring.

1. My fiancee's Brazilian Passport

2. I-94 inside the passport

3. Her Brazilian Birth certificate

4. completed SS-5

5. SSN web printout

Do you guys bring more stuff? Please let me know.

i just went with my fiancee today to get her a ssn, and that was all i brought. Make sure her birth cert. is translated and certified. Be prepared for a long wait also.

07-14-06 : NOA2 received in mail

07-12-06 : NVC received

07-19-06 : Sent to Moscow

07-20-06 : letter from NVC dated July 18 that they rec petition and would forward

07-25-06 : Moscow rec

07-26-06 : DOS tells me that Moscow has sent packet (does not happen in Moscow)

08-19-06 : Moscow sends interview letter

10-05-06 : Interview - CAKE WALK!

When I went to SS office they did not ask for my birth certificate. But I needed it to AOS. You don’t need a certified translator, just ask a friend who is fluent in Portuguese and English to make a statement and sign. I did this and did not have any problems.

hey, my husband and i are going to get him his SS card. We have his his birth certificate in spanish. We also have a version translated into english and certified. here's my question.. will they accept a copy of both or do they have to be originals?

11/03/06: Carlos arrives in the States for the first time

12/05/06: MARRIED MARRIED MARRIED!!!!!

01/11/07: Applied for SSN

01/17/07: Received SS card in snailmail

03/13/07: Submitted AOS and EAD

03/22/07: Received NOA1 for both AOS and EAD in mail

03/24.07: Received Biometrics Appt. letter

04/06/07: Biometrics Appt.

04/07/07: AOS RFE (used an outdated form. argh!)

04/10/07: Mailed RFE

04/18/07: USCIS notes that processing has resumed

06/18/07: EAD received

06/19/07: Greencard!! No interview!
