Here in greece medical exam is 150. I saw somewhere on uscis site that u must pay 88$ for affidavit thing(i still cant pronounce it lol). So if u didnt pay it then i guess is not for us. Pfff all this process is soooo confusing !!

In Greece she paid a 184€ visa fee.
The fees for the medical were 23€ to the hospital, 110€ to the doctor, and 15€ for vaccinations. The vaccination fee may vary depending on what you need.
There is no $88 fee for the affidavit of support.

Well, about the fee you can know in the embassy page of your country.

In my country they have the prices at the american embassy page on internet.

Or you can go to the regional forum here in vj directilly for your country and get the informations from people from your country.

You have to pay the fee BEFORE your interview and bring the receipt with you. You will not pay anything at the embassy.

Yes, of course they will let you know. You can either charge a credit card or pay at Pireaus Bank. The amount is $240 (or 180 Euros), as mentioned before, and that's it. There is no payment at the "NVC stage".

Indeed, that site and the information the embassy will send you, mention a payment of 150 Euros for the medical, but it is a little bit less. I went to Evrokliniki and, as Kevin said, I paid 23 euros to the hospital for the blood test and the x-ray, 110 was the doctor's fee and 15 euros cost the vaccines I had to have (one for mmr and one for tetanus). I don't know if Iatriko Athinon charges something more, but in any occasion it will not be more than 150 euros.

You will NOT have to pay anything at the airport!

Everything will be fine...you need to calm down! It is a long way, but people at the embassy understand the stress we are under and that our life depends on their decision. Be truthful, follow their instructions and you have nothing to worry about!

The costs of the medical and the interview are nothing compared to the costs you will be occurring when you are approved for the k1 visa. Think of your plane ticket, the costs of the marriage (even if you only have a small civil ceremony), the Adjustment of status application (over a 1000dollars) plus think of the time where you will not be able to work as you need to wait for your authorization of employment, thus 1 income supporting 2 peopl (if no kids involved). If you are already worried about these initial k1 costs, which I agree are not cheap, but still nothing compared to what comes next, you might want to reconsider your move right now and perhaps delay the process to save up some money first.. Yep.. This k1 process is not a cheap float, but so so sooo worth it to be permanently reunited with you loved one.

Good luck with the process!

I just want to know how much money i need to have with me on the embassy cause i dont want to go there and ask me for money that i wont have, i want to be prepared.

I knew about the 240 and the medical exams but i wanted to make sure we wont have to give something extra cause i read that ppl had to give extra money at the airport or the embassy or to get the visa. I need to be prepared about everything so i can finish the process as soon as possible !!

Thank u all for ur answers!! <3
