It breaks my heart to know i really do not have an answer to your question because my petition (I-130) went through California Service center and was approved in 42 days. At that particular time, CSC was noted to be the fastest service center as most cases were approved under 2 months while other Service Centers like NSC took longer. I do not know if that is still the case right now.

However, i have copied a more experienced VJ member (Vkrishn) on your question, I believe he would be helpful.smile.png

And my question is my husband completing 5 years on May 21, 2014 and he's now eligible to apply citizenship and he has already fill up the N 400 and he will be posting the documents coming Saturday...can anyone tell me how long it will take to prose his naturalization through citizenship.

I don't even see NSC processing I-130 for Permanent residents in this link. As per their website its taking a year to process I-130 filed by USC. I also heard that I-130 filed by USC's are being transferred from NBC to NSC/CSC/TSC/VSC.

Like shadowflex mentioned, CSC was super fast between August and Oct 2013. They have slowed down now probably due to the transfers from NBC.

That is pretty much a useless website who copy paste from different resources. Till date they have not been able to put forward the proof of their prediction for F2A. Just copy paste from other websites or from VB.

I read somewhere where the guy that deals with the Bulletin mentioned that it would remain unchanged until, March 29, 2014. so to be honest I am thinking we should see something in the next bulletin. My wife also started her naturalization process so that another visa becoming available however I do hope for the Bulletin to move in the next Bulletin..

Thank you for the compliment. We are in the same boat and let's not be scared by a retrogression. It may only delay but cannot stop us from being with our family.

Judging by the current priority date, i don't think the retrogression would go backward that much. Note that the notorious F2A mexico category went back for a little more than a year so it may be safe to say , at worst, ours would retrogress by maybe 6 months. Also do not forget that the new fiscal year which brings loads of visa numbers is almost heresmile.png. Look below, Bloomfield is also going to leave our queue once his wife gets naturalized. Indeed there are many more people like Mrs. B and Bloomfield.

Above all, lets stay afloat with hope!
