you had to decide what lunch box to get AND what trapper keeper to get

My school at some point banned trapper keepers. #######? I still don't know why they weren't allowed.

Can't mention trapper keepers without thinking of snap bracelets, also banned by my school later on...

Oh yeah I loved those snap bracelets! I still have some at home and I told my Mom to save them for a rainy day.

Thundercats hooooooo! Geez I loved that show...I didn't get to watch it often because it clashed with GI Joe and my brother was a whiner and got his way.

Odd how stuff comes full circle...my girls are insane over snap bracelets right now! Holly Hobby has been reincarnated along with Carebears, My Little Pony and look for the trailer for the Transformers movie!

I was too young for Dorothy Hamil..but I sure lopped off all my hair so I could be just like Mary Lou Retton!

OMG, Marilyn, I had totally forgotten about those. I loved stirrup pants! I think all my pants were either those or stonewashed jeans with elastic waist bands!
