Has anyone used rapid visa

I am wondering has anyone used this service to file for foreign spouse to enter US. I called but could not get a clear answer as to if the I-130 had to be filed separately because they said they did not file that form but could and would not answer if I had to do it.

There is no rapid service when filing an I-130. You can request expedited processing but there is criteria you have to meet to qualify and most people don't. You can use the search.

I have seen people granted expediting and it saved them a month compared to others who filed the same day and didn't have expediting. Yet I have seen people request expedited service and it actually took a little longer than others that filed the same day. It's a ####### shoot. There is no rhyme or reason to the order they approve applicants.

For the I-130 USCIS has a target of 5 months to approve all applications. If you file now you'll probably be approved within 6 months. It's really improved processing times since they started transferring applicants to service centers. Your spouse won't be able to travel to the US for 9-12 months when you add in time for the NVC, medical and interview.
