I 797 for I 751 received

So the i797 has wife's name but 8 year old child's name is not mentioned. His name was on I 751 and fee for biometric paid. Will there be a separate form mailed or is just one i797 issued that will cover both.

I'm confused. Your timeline is not fully complete. Are you applying for a 2-year green card or 10-year green card?

We also recieved my wife's ROC NOA1 which extended her stay for 1 year etc., etc. No mention of my stepdaughter which was listed on the I-751. They both recieved their BIO appointment letters a couple of days ago.

Appearently some receive a seperate letter for the child, some do not. I'm gonna call soon and see if I can get any answers.

Since we're not planning on travelling out of the country I don't think it's a big deal though.

We also received my wife's R.O.C NOA1, but nothing for my 9 year old step-daughter. She was listed as well on my wife's I-751. I looked around the internet trying to find out if this is normal or should I inquire further and i'm seeing mixed answers. I'm going to wait a week and see what comes but until then can anyone confirm whether or not this is normal or not? Thanks.

I actually called the USCIS and asked this question. The CSR said they do not include the childs name on the NOA.

We did complete the BIO appt and I can see the case status using the EAC#'s on the BIO appointment letters. So I'm not worried about it.

I posted this somewhere else, but i'll post it here as well. My daughter ended up receiving her I-797 the next day. It was different from my wife's and it basically said she was added as a dependent on my wife's I-751 and will be processed along with my wife. Hope this helps.
