I feel sorry to the families if they're having to listen to the same conspiracy theories we are.

The families are having a hard time not knowing the fate of their loved ones. I have seen several reports of gratitude that so many countries are working to help solve this mystery.

Working to solve and spouting conspiracy theories are two different things.

I don't know which part is worse. not knowing, or having to listen to people who also don't know anything but are pretending they do.

The entire world has an opinion about what happened. Some people know more than others, and some just guess. That's human nature. Do you think everyone on earth should just be quiet, especially when this is something that affects not only the passengers and their families, but anyone who ever travels on an airplane. In time we all may know what happened, or we may not. The worlds continues for now and there will be many lessons learned from this event and it may bring good changes. Like pushing the Pilot's union out of the way and putting cameras and cockpit voice recorders that transmit to a database in real-time.

I think people who have nothing to do with the investigation should not jump to their own conclusions. It does nothing to help anyone, and could in fact hurt those who actually are involved.

I respect your opinion and can see your point. But, I think it's human nature for many people to try in their own way to figure out what's happening. That includes people who are considered experts or Joe, John, and Mary on Mulberry street.

I think it's very unlikely that the world's military tracking capabilities, especially those of the US and China have not learned the location of the plane. At this point it's far more likely that the location is known, and secret next step planning has been underway for some days.

yup. military satellites can tell if you have a hair out of place. the gov't can tell what you did online a year ago & local police can ping your cell phone to get your location....people think no one knows where this plane is.

The wife of one passenger, who only identified herself by her last name Wen, demanded action from the Chinese premier and his wife.

“I don’t know what is more important than the lives of the more than 200 passengers missing,” said Wen. “I want to ask you Mrs. Xi, if your husband, President Xi Jinping were on the plane, what would you do? If it were your parents, what would you do?”

“We are waiting desperately. My child is asking me for his father every day. What should I do?” she added. “We have not information whatsoever.”

yup. military satellites can tell if you have a hair out of place. the gov't can tell what you did online a year ago & local police can ping your cell phone to get your location....people think no one knows where this plane is.

No one really knows what military satellites can see or not see. The only thing discussed in public view is what commercial satellites can see. Publicly, they've narrowed down the location by looking at ACARS, which pings to commercial satellites every 30-minutes. It's unknown whether these pings were received by more than one satellite to better establish location. Three or more satellites are required to pinpoint the exact location.

You can only figure our what has happened if you have access to the investigation or actual facts, that's not the same as fantasising over a fictional story you've cooked up.

I don't have any problem with that if that's what you want to do, but at least call it what it is.
