Just curious as to whether there have been any hijackings in recent history that did not involve a radical Muslim? I can't think of one, but welcome enlightenment.

The mystery involving Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 deepens as officials widen the massive search and signal that fears of terrorism were likely off-mark

As the sun set here on the fourth day since Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 vanished, the case of the ill-fated jetliner was as muddied as Kuala Lumpur’s skies, steeped in a dense haze that seasonally blankets the Malaysian capital.

“We’ve made no progress, we don’t have a clue,” Izhar Bahari, air traffic controller at Malaysia’s Department of Civil Aviation, tells TIME. He went on to deny an earlier report that the search has now shifted focus to the Strait of Malacca. “We focus our search both on the east and the west coast, and we will expand the areas for tomorrow.”

Authorities said Tuesday that despite suspicions raised by the fact that two of the passengers held stolen passports, one was a 19-year-old Iranian asylum seeker with no terrorist ties. The revelation seemed to deflate fears that the disappearance was an act of terrorism.

Shhhh, he jumped out and landed in my back yard. I'll split it with you if you keep it quiet.

Deal, I want my cut in crisp one dollar bills.

Your post is debunked. Check the news feed and you'll see that the plane was flying to a resort location in Malacca Strait. Could be they are all sipping on fruity drinks.

As I said, my post was not going to please some...

Here is a snippet from the copy, the link to which you posted:

STOLEN PASSPORTS

The fact that at least two passengers on board had used stolen passports has raised suspicions of foul play. But southeast Asia is known as a hub for false documents that are also used by smugglers, illegal migrants and asylum seekers.

Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble named the two men as Iranians aged 18 and 29, who had entered Malaysia using their real passports before using the stolen European documents to board the Beijing-bound flight.

"The more information we get, the more we are inclined to conclude it is not a terrorist incident," Noble said.

Malaysian police chief Khalid said the younger man, who he said was 19, appeared to be an illegal immigrant. His mother was waiting for him in Frankfurt and had been in contact with authorities, he said.

"We believe he is not likely to be a member of any terrorist group, and we believe he was trying to migrate to Germany," Khalid said.

Only the US and UK even check the international "stolen passport" database system, whatever its called. I doubt that people traveling with stolen passports is that rare. I guess we'll see, its gonna be in the water though IMO. They'll find it. IF it turns out to be mechanical failure, WILL the people on here blaming Muslim extremism recant? I doubt it.

Please debunk the story. And while you're at it, post that 1000 employee store you brought up and have yet to prove.

When I converted, I received an ID that has my Muslim name as well as my regular name. I still have it in my wallet.

Let's first find out what the hell the plane was doing in the Malacca Strait and why it took so long for the government of Malaysia to report it.

That's a cool story BTW.

It's intriguing to say the least. Terrorism IMO isn't confined to Islam. All those folks that committed mass shootings are terrorists in my mind.
