Hello All,

I'm the USC and will file an I-130 for my stepson which is 9 years of age. He current lives in the Dominican Republic. My wife recently enter US with an CR-1 Visa. I tried searching for the answer for my question but did not find any good results.

My question is: When I file the I-130 will I need any kind of legal document from the biological father stating he give permission to have his son in any kind of Immigration processing?
