Case at NVC, but husband not in the US.

Hello everyone, I already posted something similar in the military forum but didn't get any info.

For military reasons, my husband won't be in the US for much longer. Our visa petition was approved yesterday from USCIS and we haven't received a hard copy of the NOA2 yet, so... I suppose we won't be able to finish with NVC within the next 20 days. Am I right?

Is there a way I could do it without him being physically in the US? Should I have him sending me everything for the AOS package and send it myself? Will they send something to him?

We are not concerned about the payments, we can both do that, but he won't have any fast internet access for the next months.

Any advice will be very helpful

Why do you think you can't go along with the NVC process as the beneficiary?

All your husband need to do is send you the requisite AOS and IV documents to be sent (mailed or courier) to the NVC.

My wife as the beneficiary filled her own DS-260 online with no problems.I had all her original documents, mailed it in to nvc painlessly. Had easy interview and easy approval.

And the hardcopy NOA2 Notice is not needed. You were approved . get all the paperwork from your husband now like previous poster said.

Once the NVC has both email addresses on record, they will communicate exclusively via email.

get him to send you 1) the AOS package and 2) a check from his bank so you can pay the fees online.

I did EVERYTHING with the NVC after my husband provided me with his signed package AOS, tax transcripts, and LES. (pay stubs.) I paid all the bills and sent all the info and called the NVC. You can use Skype or Google voice to call the NVC for cheaper than a phone. Everything is sent via email once they have your email addresses from the NVC. You just have to mail the AOS and IV packages.

It does suck that he's being deployed so fast. Best wishes for the both of you!!

Original signature on the I-864 is required, supporting documents can be scanned or faxed.
