So comfused with noa2!!

Can pls someone give me an estimate of how long we must wait for noa2? Cause i read Texas center was quick now they say is slow. December fillers got their noa2. Seems like they get noa2 within a month. I dont know what to believe and how long to wait. We are December fillers we had made a mistake with the fee and we got a second case number on January. So we count as January fillers?? Im so comfused when is supposed we must get the noa2?

You are giving wrong info. The OP is a K1 filer. The processing time is 5 months from the date of NOA1.

That means they are now take care of the papers got till December 31?

Unfortunately, there is no certain time of any processing centers that tells when you will get the approval. Some people are lucky to get fast approval and some others don't. There are a lot things they have to do like background checks for petitioner or might be get delay because an RFE, sit on pile of files waiting petitioner responds to the RFE, and then working toward to another petitions.

I had a friend on VJ that filed I-129F at same time with mine and was processing at TSC as well. I got approved in 38 days and his petition approved 3 months later. Also bear in mind that if you are seeing estimate times of I-129F's approval on VJ, it is only reflecting from people that updated their timelines and a small fraction numbers of petitions from around the world. I am afraid to let you down but that how it is.

In answer to your question, there are Feb filers who originally filed in Jan but had to resend their I129Fs. They seem to suggest that you go from the NOA1 of your new application (January) because that is the file they actually submit into review. If you received two NOA1s, the most recent is the accurate filing date.

We are still waiting too and we filed at the TSC. our noa1 date is 11/8/2013.....believe this journey will test your patience like it has for us. im not even expecting another before the 5 month period wait and even then.....-__- who knows...

It depends from case to case, really. There's no way to predict when you'll get NOA2.

We went over the 5 months period of waiting the web site gives you, some times it happens, as some cases take longer to go through processing and all that.

Just be patient and you'll get it eventually, no point in getting upset over this!

Post Decision Activity

On XXXX 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

We are not waiting a letter from the NVC to obtain the case number. Will this status on USCIS will change further? Or this is the final update we will get on USCIS website???
