First of I'm happy to say I got my Green Card yesterday.

But now I'm wondering what I need to do after :

I know my Drivers License is only valid for 6 months ( till end work permit ) so I'll need to update that one, and my Social Security Card stats only valid with work permit.

So do I need to get a new Social Security Card ?

And are there any other things I need to change, update, inform ?

Yes to new SS card, No to anything else.

Are you sure about the SS card? My wife had her EAD and we went to get her last name changed on her SS card and the new one still says she can't work with out a permit. Of course her green card is now her permit to work from what the officer told me at our interview.

With most states you can go into DMV with your green card and they will extend the validity of your driver's license to coincide with the expiration of your green card.

You should get your SS card updated, but it isn't necessary to start working, as the green card is DHS authorization to work ;) My wife has yet to update her SS card and she is working.
