Our AOS interview went very quickly and we were told we would be approved. However the officer never asked to keep the requested paperwork we brought. Is this normal or could we get an RFE because he doesnt have the most recent I-864? Im hoping that this is ok as I didnt discover the mistake until we got home. Hopefully I am just worrying needlessly here but its been a long journey and we dont want to trip up just as we approach the finish line!

What documents? Why would you need to provide a new I-864? The IO asked for nothing from us, not even for my husband's EAD/AP and paper I-94. I cannot think of anything they would have had to collect from you.

Then they must have changed the wording for the boilerplate interview letter. It used to have (unless already submitted) at the end of the line about the I-864 too, like this > http://***removed***/forum/photoplog/images/395/1_AOS_Interview.jpg

Anyway, the one you submitted would have been accepted, or you would have received an RFE for it.

I think you should be fine. My wife and I brought originals and copies of the documents listed in the appointment letter. The officer did not ask for any of them. We were approved.

I know how you feel...you've come a long way to get to this point.
