how long does it take to get an online appointment at us embassy?

i was wondering if anyone knew about how to receive your case number from NVC? I got my NOA2 on May 15...I called NVC yesterday and they have it, but the lady was very short and rude with me...she said it would take 30 days to process and another 10 before I got a letter in the mail with instructions. I thought the letter was supposed to be sent to the beneficiary.. anyone know about this?

I am sorry that you got a rude lady on the phone, most of the NVC people that I spoke with were pleasant, maybe you just got that one person that had a bad day. You should be able to call the NVC and once they have the case they will give you the case number. Our case number was generated the day after they received it. They did not receive my case until exactly two weeks after my NOA2. I don't think thats true about the 30 days to process, there was one guy that told me the same thing. But I did not receive a letter in the mail from the NVC for at least 2 weeks after the case had already left the NVC. I hope this helps!

Are you referring to making the appointment for the k-1 Visa? If so that just depends how backed up they are and when they have available dates to meet with you.

yes, ive been dying and waiting to get appointment date, but a week has passed and I havent got or seen any.

I noticed on your timeline that you're at the NOA2 stage. Has your petition already been sent to your embassy as well as the other steps that follow? Were you directed to fill out the online DS-160 for the interview? If so what did that say? I have seen a few people post from the Philippines that they are in the same bind with no upcoming interviews available.

Another Month has started, Let's all hope that all DEC/JAN start to get their NOA2 so they can move on to FEB/MARCH. I have seen a handful of people from nov and 1 from Jan getting theirs, So this must be a good sign

My bad.. I posted a link of one of the thread here.. She/he talked about on how we could get the attention of the director of tsc.. That person said we should send a letter directly to the director of the tsc.. That's all..

Hi all, I have been following this thread... Congratulations to those TSC March filers who got their NOA2. I sent our Packet on March 13th. NOA1 receipt date: March 18th, notice date: March 20th. The last update was 'Alien# changed' on March 25th. May God grant us all more patience than what we already have... Stay strong and blessed to all that are still waiting for NOA2. I haven't updated my timeline, BUT yes we've got everything now except packet 3 from the US embassy but got an email notification saying im eligible to apply for an interview, already paid the $240 fee last May 27, I've been checking online and calling the embassy for an available slot, unfortunately i havent got any slot.
