Oh no! So sorry to hear that.

I have a further question to everyone: IF you answered NO to Q.33, do you still have to write N/A to Q.33a? I would think that's redundant, right? I mean, wherever there was a sereis of subquestions that foilowed a main question which was a yes/no, if I answered the main Q as a NO, I left all subsequent subquestions blank. IS THIS OK?? Did I just screw up my application??? :o

The instructions specifically state (page 2 of 9. #3 under "How to fill out Form I-129F) ...."Answer all questions fully and accurately. If an item is not applicable or the answer is "none," leave the space blank."

You are fine as the answer was no and I am a bit perplexed why the RFE above required N/A as that is contradictory to what the instructions state.

Don't worry about that. Remember that my RFE was because I did not answer the question 33 and the 33.a. is part of the Q33. YOU ARE FINE.

Hi.

I've read thread after thread about how far behind TSC is processing I-129fs and I am just so frustrated by the unfairness. Should I move across the country for 6 months just to get the USCIS to process our application 4-5 months sooner? It's just ridiculous.

I am going to email my senators and congressperson about this absurd imbalance. I am also trying to bring it the attention of the White House. Please sign the petition here: http://wh.gov/loVaS Ask your friends and family to sign. Email your representatives with a link to the petition so that they can see how many of us are affected. If we get 100,000 signatures by June 28 (a stretch, I know, but let's try!), the White House will review the petition directly!

Thanks.
Heather.

HAVE YOU SEEN THIS POST?? YOU CAN CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT AND SIGN THE PETITION..FOR TSC AND CSC (WHO'S DONE WITH NOA2 AND THOSE WHO WANTS TO HELP TSC FOR THIS BATTLE )

THIS PETITION NEEDS 100,000 SIGN.. PLEASE DO SUPPORT EACH OTHER.. THANK YOU VERY MUCH..

i was wondering if anyone knew about how to receive your case number from NVC? I got my NOA2 on May 15...I called NVC yesterday and they have it, but the lady was very short and rude with me...she said it would take 30 days to process and another 10 before I got a letter in the mail with instructions. I thought the letter was supposed to be sent to the beneficiary.. anyone know about this?

After reading your post I went to look at my paperwork - it's been 67 days, so I was getting worried, and darn if I didn't miss answering question 33 as well... So I copied page 4, answered the question, attached a cover letter and my I-797C receipt and overnighted it to Mesquite, TX. Someone signed for it this morning and picked it up at the P.O. Box. Hope that was all they needed and it will make it to my petition. Fingers crossed.
