Well that would be a new one on me ....All of New York is definitely east. I was referring to states like Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, etc. States in the Central time zone. Sorry for the confusion.

Another problem we face at TSC is that the eastern half of the country is more densely populated, therefor, TSC will receive a much higher number of petitions per capita. They may, however, have already taken that into account as you see Chicago going to CSC (at least the few I have seen). Chicago is 2 states east of me. Then again, I saw someone from New Mexico mention they are at TSC so who the heck knows what methods back up their madness at USCIS ... lol. Of course, the person could be mistaken (as we see so often) in thinking they are there because they mailed to Texas lockbox...who knows? <shrug>

Well early July is my 5 month so if in that time i dont receive my NOA2 im gonna call everyday to USCIS because they say 5 month aprox... I'm actually send an email to the US embassy here in my country because I needed to know about to the time and they email.me back saying 5 month aproximately so.could be before ... Im hoping and just wanna be with my fiance forever ...

No problem asking... I would love to go visit. I have lived there for 11 years, and have lots of wonderful friends besides him being there. But, my job won't allow vacation time for a wedding and an extra trip, so I can't get away to go see him, since I am hoping to get him up here sometime before the end of the year for a wedding.

Same thing happened to me last year actually i applied 2 twice 1 to US and other to Canada because Canada is closer to where my fiance live in US so ..

The same thing happened to my sweetheart and I before we got engaged/applied for this visa. It was AWFUL. I felt like the world was caving in on us.

But there's hope!! there is so much hope! I just keep telling myself, take things one day at a time. Saying prayers and sending positive thoughts to you both.

where do you enter your datas so you had an estimated visa journey's timeline for the next step?

I just told my current employer to extend my grad contract with a unknown date. I am graduating and to do so I have to do an internship. Im glad its paid. He needed an end date so told him just do oct 1st. It sucks because it will be a long time and I will get paid under the government set rules for minimum wage.

But it will give me time to save up some money. Im trying to stay strong for both me and my fiancee. She is really struggling with this. Its hard on her. Im not as much affected by it right now because of my thesis but I am sure once thats over, ill be a mess as well. A grown up man being a mess. Kind of weird to think about to so true. Let me be with my fiancee!

Unfortunately you (we) do not have that option. Everyone sends to Texas "Lockbox" and from there the petitions go to either TSC or CSC depending on your geographical location. You are in New York, so that was going to go to Texas regardless. I am not sure where the dividing line is but basically divide the country in half and whoever is in the eastern half will go to Texas. The Midwest (like Chicago) gets a bit shaky because some that appear east end up in CSC.

I would imagine they have color coded maps of the US at USCIS to determine where they go.

I would also imagine there are other circumstances that may drive where they go due to expedites, etc.

We are in OHIO, and we got CSC.

Every single day for the last week, the VJ estimate on my timeline has moved further and further out. I'm getting the feeling that this is going to stretch into August, or further. My fiancée and I were hoping to be married by December. This is looking less and less realistic with every passing week.

Thankfully, I am going to Cornwall to see her in September.

Whatever is happening at TSC, it needs to be fixed right away. As a US taxpayer, this is unacceptable.
