They are doing December right now :(

Aye! I've read they are doing December, but somewhere on the January people have called and USCIS said they are working on November 22nd petitions, I don't know what is going on cause no one is getting straight answer on anything, They just tell you to wait, It's only been a Month for me and I don't mind waiting, I'd just like some order for all the people who filed before us, Cause it's not fair on any of us and most probably we will go through the same process =, Unless TSC gets a move on :) But who knows, They might fly through the January petitions and go faster :D

Hello Tee and Megan! How did you get it via text? Did you sign up on the USCIS website to get text notification for status changes? Did you also get an email? When did you receive the hard copy?

If you go to https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do

on the lefthand side of the page there is a link in the box called "Sign-up for Case Updates." I filled that in so I got a text and an email notification. (it might seem overkill, but what else do we have to do while we're waiting? :) ) All you have to do is make an account and enter in your phone number and email to receive the updates. if you need any more help with this, just let me know.

We got an email and a text message because I signed up for these updates. I got the email and the text both at around 11pm on April 24th and just got the hard copy in the mail today, April 28.

Does that help? :)

All that we are and all that will be we dedicate to the One who brought us together

It means that as of February, There are over 6 thousand k1 visas waiting to be processed at the Texas Service Center. It means most people who filed in March, Will be very lucky to see approval before 5 months.

Because I'm a geek, I used that data and did some calculations.

Of the months that they had completions (Jun 2013 through Feb 2014), the trend (using linear regression) is that they are processing 2189 applications per month.

As of the end of February there were 6716 applications pending. (We can see from Mar12 and Apr12 that the "All Other Pending" column is "as of the end of the month".)

They are processing 2189 applications per month, so that equates to 3.07 months of work.

So, if your NOA1 was 1 March, your estimated NOA2 date would be 1 June.

If your NOA1 was 31 March, your estimated NOA2 date would be 1 July.

This means that, roughly, whatever day of the month your NOA1 came in March, it will be that same day in June +/- a day.

So, the earliest of us TSC March filers still have a month to go, statistically.

If the trend is based only on the last three months in that data, the number of applications per month drops to 1662.

That equates to 4.04 months of work left, so add a month.

So, a rough estimate for any of us March filers would be sometime between the day of the month in June to the day of the month in July.

For giggles, my NOA1 date was 5 Mar. Following this calculation, I should have NOA2 between 5 Jun and 5 July.

(Of course, all of this is statistical and based heavily on the linear regression trend. That can't predict real-world influences.)

Thank you for the research!!

But what makes me worried is that TSC says they are doing the November files now... (I haven't called them but I've read that some people have and they receieved this as a reply) On Igor's list, after ignoring the people who think they are being looked into by TSC just because they sent their package to Texas, we can see that they are on December files now... I even see some January today.

So from December to April-May, it's exactly 5 months. I got my NOA1 on April 1st so I also have to wait 5 months, at least 4 before they can finish those months before me.. :/

I have the application at the California Center. I received my NOA1 on March 5th. Shouldn't I have received NOA2 already? Seems like all CA March filers have received their NOA2 already. Anyone still waiting?
