I would suggest go back home..she has family in phillippines I guess right to help her about the situation being a single Mom.Parents or relatives in Philippines helping each other.she can go back there once she found another love.illegal alien is scary..what if the authority found out..not only her ban also her 2 kids.

I've no idea what support she gets from family there.

But as to scary, check this youtube video, that was her city just last September. Which is scarier? Although I have no idea how close she was to any of that.

I think it's a story the local media might be interested in. You should try running it past some of the news editors at the local TV stations. Maybe if they do a story on it a few people who see it might chip in and donate some cash to help her get home and back on her feet. It's unusual enough that I could see them doing a story on it.

No matter how hard life it is in the Philippines,I'm pretty sure her family is willing to support her and her kids if she's going back home while looking for jobs. She just have to find money for airfare. She needs to contact the Philippine Consulate nearby so they can help them.

I would not advice her to stay in the US because she will be illegal once her I-94 expires.

People are apparently assuming a significant amount. Like I know the individual more than I actually do, and I'm in a position to advise her. I told her I'd look into what her options are, and it there are any. I knew her fiance a little bit through this site, and most of what I know about her is through him. I was contacted by her because she found her fiance had been in contact with me, as we're local to each other and my wife is from the same country as her.

Her options are not good, and I have a slight idea on how she feels by phone her conversation with my wife in their native language last night. She's going to decide how she feels she needs to decide when she has all the information she can get. What I do know, is she did not desire going back even if its not legal, and given some things her fiance told me, where she is from, and the cultural difficulties in her situation, I understand why she would feel that way. It doesn't mean I've advised her to stay illegally. Having empathy for a situation, does not mean you agree with it.

Now can people please stop with the she should go home stuff? We all know that. She knows that. Given a little time, she may even realize that will be her best path. I can't see the future. I do know she's been through some tough breaks and it might take some time for clarity to come to her. But no matter what, its her life and her choices.
