Hello Everyone, I had a few questions.

My fiance's interview at the Manila US embassy in April 10, 2014.

1. In terms of supporting documents for I-134. I went to school in the philippines and that is where i met my fiance. I returned to the U.S. on July 31, 2013 and am waiting for the approval to take my NCLEX-RN for nursing. I started working as a private home caregiver October 2013 so all i have is a letter from my employer (with no official letterhead) and copies of the weekly personal checks that they pay me with. In addition, since I was attending school in the philippines the past 4 years, I have no w2, 1099 or tax returns except for the 1099 for the 3 months i worked in 2013. Will that be a problem?

2. I also got my parents to submit an I-134 for a co-sponsor. My father's income is adequate. The issue with that, is the day they got the letter from the bank regarding their account, the current balance was very very low ($36), but the average balance on the letter shows $2500. My father does have stocks/retirement account with $100,000.00 in it which i will bring the paper work. Are there any problems there or is that okay?

3. Should I bring my bank statments?

4. I am going to go with my fiance to the interview because she is very nervous. Do I enter the same area as her?

Any help would greatly be appreciated. The closer the interview comes, the more nervous i seem to get. Thanks!

I have not had experience with co-sponsorship, but only what I have read. Seems you really need a strong case for a co-sponsor and can show strong assets to be approved.

Since you have come this far you need to build the strongest case possible. You should read others experiences who had walked down this road prior to you. Do a search and you will find many posts talking about their experience.

This one may be very helpful. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/439264-us-embassy-manila-interview-k1-visa-on-administrative-processing;-denied-co-sponsorship;-issued-221g;-co-on-power-trip/
