how long does the ceac take to finish AP?

does anyone here been through AP or going through this process? I made an inquiry to Islamabad embassy about my fiancé's visa. the embassy said our case is at the department of state for AP processing. does anyone know how long will this take because the officer at the end of interview said everything was perfect but they still have to put my fiancé in AP. the interview was on the 19th of feb, 2014. let me know guys.... thank you I really appreciate.

No one can tell you how long AP will last, it could be a week, a month, several months or several years. There is nothing you can do to expedite the process. There is a thread in the waiver category just for Islamabad. There are several people who have been in AP for years there. I suggest taking a swing over to the thread and introduce yourself, there are many there in you situation. Good luck.

I have been AP 29 Month and i am still waiting just praying and inshallah you will get it no worried just dont bother the embassy they will do there work as soon as case is fine and nothing wrong with it u know so good luck and praying for you
