Hi everyone! I just received a mail today saying that, "The U.S. Embassy or Consulate is willing to expedite this case once we all have the fees, forms, and documents.", does this mean that my request for expedition has been approved? But I have send all the documents and paid all the fees, and then I called NVC and they told me that I have a few problems with my AOS and they will be sending me a checklist for it. And the rep told me once i get the checklist I have to send it again to them and it would take another 30 days for review even if my request for expedition in approved, is that true? But it says here in the mail that "you can pay your fees and submit DS-260 at ceac, state, gov. Please send everything else to nvcinquiry@state.gov (type "ATTN: PI Supervisor" in the subject line of the email) or to this address National Visa Center, ATTN: PI Supervisor, 31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 200, Portsmouth, NH 03801- 2915". So I can I send to through email? Thank you so much! Hope to hear your responses

If it helps, we got our case expedited at NVC. Our request was accepted for expedite in 6 working days. What we did in our case was we sent email to NVCExpedite@state.gov and reasoned out why we need our case expedited and attached all supporting documents.

At this point NVC share these details with Consular General or Embassy and it is upto them to accept or reject expedite request. Make sure your reason for expedite is legitimate and I guess if your PD is current, it helps.

If approved, then you will receive email from NVC stating your request is accepted and all further dealings will be directly with the embassy.

We then waited for embassy to send instructions to schedule appointment. We received email, after countless follow-ups with call center for 3+ weeks, asking us to schedule medical test and interview for biometric & consular interview.

All this in last 4+ weeks. Hope this helps.

How come I only got a letter that says that they are willing to expedite if they received all our payments and documents? does that mean our request have not been approved yet? and how come I still have to deal with NVC while you didn't? thanks!

jikoy - it all depends on what was the basis for your expedite request, what stage your case is/was (hence payment request) in when you requested for expedite processing, your visa class category and what documentation you have submitted and if NVC and/or Embassy was satisfied with your documentation & reasoning. Based on your post, it appears that your case has not yet been approved for expedite processing. If in doubt, I suggest contact NVC via phone and they generally explain what is missing and/or what you need to get your case expedited.

I believe the question is, what legitimate reasons do you have to make a request for expedited processing?

I have read some blogs that indicate that if NVC and/or Consular General believes somoene has produced false info for expediate processing it can further delay the process. Not sure if this indeed happened to anyone.
