Anyone familiar with how long it takes for a police clearance in South Africa?

January 7, 2014 Text and email

***Petition APPROVED***

January 9, 2014 email and text petition sent to State Department◆

Anyone familiar with how long it takes for a police clearance in South Africa?

We paid for courier service. It took 1 week but they told us it could take 4-6 weeks as well.

He applied yesturday in Petoria and was told 3-4 weeks.as well. Hoping sooner

Hellow VJ members, I am a beneficiary living in Pretoria and I have an interview date of May 6th 2014, I am planning to visit my aunt who lives in Cape Town, before my interview, and I was wondering if I can go to the Doctor in Cape towm for my medicals, now that I'm gonna be interviewed in Johannesburg? Does it matter?. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Hi,

As long as it's on the list of doctor that the Embassy provides then you can go and have your medical there.
