I ended up buying a 1 way ticket, but when I looked 6 weeks ago it was cheaper to buy 2 round trip tickets. Then when I looked at the same flight 5 weeks ago the price increased by 300 per ticket. I dont have an answer for you, because I have seen it go either way and I cant figure it out?? I hate buying plane ticketsmad.gif

I was going to purchase with CheapO and the price was $3100 for the round trip from baton Rouge and 1 @ one way from saigon to baton rouge.

woman said that is the market price I could not get cheaper. I went to Expedia and got for $2300. the difference was mostly in the cost of the one way ticket 1400 from CheapO and 800 from Expedia.

I hope she has her visa in hand by the time I arrive.

Have you tried this? I booked last week for my summer June 20th arrival in HCM: https://www.gatewaylax.com/

- round trip from WA -> HCM -> WA $1400.

- one-way from HCM -> WA $600.

I found out prior to June 1st, the tickets are cheaper, just need the work to adjust around a little as price fluctuates on weekdays vs weekends.

Good lucks.

It took 5 business day for my fiancée to receive her Visa after her interview.

cost me about $650 for a one way ticket. You are lucky that you can just buy the ticket and have her fly here. saves a lot of money. I have to fly there and then fly back with her here but i'm not complaining too much. Need to make the future wife happy. Happy Wife = Happy Life. =)

Regards,

Pete

Once she's here with you, can we safely assume you will eventually stop posting your craps here (oops, I meant "valuable opinions/suggestions") soon after? Heck even veteran like JimnPhuong even did that. Gotta make time and room to practive safe sex with your new wife right?

BTW, she's NOT a wife! She's a baby! A grown and mature woman is CAPABLE of traveling by herself! My wife couldn't speak one single English and she sailed through LAX just fine.

Tell her to grow up if she tries to become someone's wife. And you need to stop "babysit" her.

Traveling on an airplane in her case is NOTHING compared to floating on the Pacific ocean for weeks without food/water/sex/whatever.

Can she handle that? Wait. This is VJ, where babies are pampered!

What am I thinking?

Hey, troll, why don't you find something else better to do with your life when you're off the meds, eh?

You're pathetic! Get a life.

I forgot to mention which might be helpful for others. When they deliver the visa, your fiancée needs to have her ID card on hand. They were very strict on this because they didn't want to give the Visa and passport to the wrong person. At least this was the case for my fiancée.
