I had my interview on June got a RFE during the interview and still waiting for a response on the RFE. I made a INFOPass for Monday. Hopefully, I get some good news. This waiting game is getting the best of me.

I'm so sorry to hear this! When did you submit your RFE?

We also got an RFE at our interview. They gave us 3 months to submit it, so -on the advice of the VJers- we took our time gathering additional evidence of our bonafide marriage. We submitted in-person at our local office about a month later and received the GC a week later. Let us know how Monday goes! Fingers crossed for you....

They gave us a month to submit it. We sent it within 2 weeks on July 1. And unfortunately Monday's Infopass was no help. I asked the officer if he can let me know if they received my response. He said if you sent it then they must have received it. And the went on to tell me I have to be patient and wait because our case is a continuous case for the reason that I already has an interview. Its so frustrating to not know anything.

did you receive an interview waiver for your case?

No, as I mentioned I already had an interview in June which is when I received the RFE.

Hi everyone,

How many of you are still waiting and what office is processing your case? Although I got the interview waiver letter and can expect to wait until the end of December I put in a case inquiry just to see where my case is at the moment and make sure it isn't lost or anything. I got the response from my local office ( San Antonio, TX ) :

Our records show that your I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status is currently pending extended review with the National Benefits Center (NBC). We regret that we are unable to provide you with a completion date for your I-485 application. We apologize for the delay.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

So, I do know my case is at the NBC and they are 'working on it'. Frustrating to have to wait this long but at least I am here in the US, happily married and with a job. Think I posted when I got the interview waiver letter that they are probably going to wait till Christmas to approve my greencard. It'll be my Christmas present, so thoughtful of USCIS!

Good luck to everyone else who's still waiting and congrats to all the ones fortunate enough to have received theirs

Hii,

It seems that we have a very simular situation. We filled March and got NOA1 March 29. Then in May we got an RFE and we replied to it within a week. Our status changed to RFE Review. On July 1st we updated our address(we moved just a few miles from the previous address) and ever since thats the only case status i see:(

On July 10th we received a interview waiver letter saying it could take up to 6 months.

We are in CA and our case is being handled at Los angeles county office.

I have a feeling that the address change messed things up for us a bit.

Hey All!

I submitted by I-485 and had my biometrics done in March of 2014. I got a letter in the mail in Mary saying that they received by I-485 and fingerprints and that my interview for the Adjustment of Status might be waived. Since then, nothing in the mail. For those who have their Green Card already, how long did it take from the time that you did your biometrics until receipt of your Green Card?

I'm in Buffalo, NY - it just seems like it's taking forever!

After receiving my interview waiver letter on June 21 asking me to wait for 6months which would be on Dec 21 this Saturday, I just received another letter dated November 21 asking me to wait for another 6 months. Does this make sense? My AOS receipt date is March 13, 2014.

That's absolutely appalling. Did you ask USCIS for an update? Please let the other NPIW people know over in the main thread (link above).
