We had our interview today in Omaha. It went great. The IO was extremely friendly. She said our application was well done, and seemed to just ask standard questions, most of which were directly from the forms. The whole thing took about 35 minutes, but most of that was just chatting about this and that. She said a big part of it was just to see how we interacted together. She did ask if there was anything else we wanted included in our file, but didn't seem overly concerned about any of it.

We were approved on the spot and got the standard info about ROC in 2 years, and that was pretty much it. So glad to be done!

Good luck to everyone!

I'm very impressed with the Social Security Office. They were extremely efficient for both my name change and my husband's SSN, as well.

Good luck on the job hunt!

Congratulations. Wow, that's really fast. I went to a social security administration on 12th June to change my name on my SSN. It's been 11 days and I haven't got anything TT

I just want my name changed in the system then I'll be able to obtain a learner permit. :crying:
