I went to the SSA Office yesterday and finally got a printout of my Social Security number. Fortunately for me I didn't have to talk to a supervisor, Thank God, I can finally start work on Monday. Thank you so much for the information, I would've waited for the SSN card to be mailed had you not told me about this.

Vic, you can go to USCIS and get a temporary proof of residence until you get you GC.

So I went to USCIS office to get I-551 Stamped today. After a struggle of more than 1 hour, I was finally given the stamp valid for 7 days. The lady at the counter was very rude and uncooperative. I had a printed memo from my employer saying I will be terminated tonight, if I don't have GC/new EAD/I-551. That did the trick.

Also I learned at the USCIS office that my GC is in production but website is not showing that status. My EAD on the other hand is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Funny, the status for I-765 went back to "Post Decision Activity" even though the card is already produced and mailed (Another proof that website sucks big time).

After so much stress, I finally feel a bit relieved. Have temporary I-551 which would maintain continuity of my employment until I get the GC in hand.

Thanks for all of those who have been reading about my posts written out of frustrations. I can see most of Mar 2014 filers getting at least interview invites with some already approved for GC. Good luck everyone!

You can use this number at www.usps.com to view updates to the delivery status of your mail. You should receive your new card within 7 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, please call our customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Double wow!!! I have not received any potential interview waiver (yet, and hopefully none). My AOS receipt number is still in acceptance mode. Your positive news gave me hope!

No interview waiver received either. Jumped from Initial Review to Card/ Document Production. Well, I sent an inquiry "E- Request" found on uscis website for my EAD since it's past 90 days already, but got the I485 update instead.

So guys, today my EAD was delivered and I went to the SSN office. I was already in the system and the lady even told me that I can go back there tomorrow and she will print out my number, as they normally process it overnight.

So today was a good day; got my interview date and my EAD on the mail.

So on 5/29 my status changed to "Testing and Interview". So far nothing and also nothing on the EAD! I'm incredibly frustrated... It's been more than 3 months since I applied. I've been seeing people getting their GCs and such.. All I want is my EAD! Is that too much to ask? Ugh

...And my EAD/AP Combo arrived today. Day 87. GC is also mailed though I have not received Tracking#. If USCIS were to believe, I should receive that tomorrow or Monday.
