Hello VJ friends!

My wife and I just submitted our AOS packet in March. We've taken a lot of guidance from this website in terms of how to file. It's been a great resource - so thank you all!!!

I need one approved post before I can add a signature for our timeline. Here it is for now:

03/08/2014 (Day 0) AOS package sent to Chicago Lockbox including - I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131
03/12/2014 (Day 0) Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

03/13/2014 (Day 1) Priority Date- Apps routed to National Benefits Center (MSC)
03/19/2014 (Day 7) Received texts/emails after midnight for I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131
03/19/2014 (Day 7) Checks cashed

Our background is that my wife is the USC and I am on H1-B, so I am adjusting from that. We've been married for over a year, but just getting around to doing this as there was really no rush for us. Hopefully everything goes smoothly!

Good luck to all you guys and hope to participate on this awesome forum!

Cheers!

@AmericanToBe,

Congrats on taking your biometrics ! I got my notification on March 10, and received my NOA a week later. I have a couple of Qs for you.
Do you have a priority date on your NOA ? Is it normal given my wife is a USC, cause I just realized that, it is the same date as the receipt date which is March 10.

Also did your case status online changed to sending biometrics letter before you got the actual letter by mail ? or you received the letter with out online status changes ?

Thank you very much for your help !

Thanks buddy!

Yes, since US citizen is filing for spouse the priority date is current, that's why it is the same as the NoA Date.

I didn't receive any notification, received the mail directly and went for the walk-in today.

You should have yours anytime now.

Cheers.
