So my case has been on RFE Response Review for almost 20 days. It was a fairly simple RFE (IRS transcripts). Is this normal? I'm really annoyed with this whole process...

Trust me I know exactly how you feel, Ive been under Response review for exactly a month now and it was for the same thing as you...sometimes I freak out because its been so long...I dont know if its normal...I mean we have upto 60 days to wait....but I know its really stressful

I know! My husband wanted to call them but I said it probably won't change anything.

I think it's ridiculous that we pay them so much money and they can't even review 2 pages in less than a month? C'mon!!!

I know another filer who had the same RFE and their's was approved in 5 weeks...its just a waiting game...im sure something will happen for you soon! Where is your case pending??

Well, they claim they received it on May 6th. But I've sent two weeks before that! This whole thing is a mess!

Crazy thing happened today. As I posted here yesteday, I got the interview date for July 1, but today I got another email/text update saying that I am now on testing and interview (the same as 10 days ago)). Called USCIS and nobody knows nothing. Has it happened to someone else?

I got an update on the 20th saying EAD was now in production then, on the 21st i got another update saying my EAD is now in production. Don't worry about it i'm sure it's their system that's causing the errors.

Just stay positive..trust me I drive myself crazy over it...but all we can do is wait...if I get an update ill let you know, let me know the same for you! fingers crossed for the both of us

My I-485 has been scheduled for an interview, but no update on EAD, should I be worried? It has been 79 days since USCIS received my application.

Please share your suggestions?

No need to worry. AOS and the EAD/AP are processed separately. You're still within processing time which is 60-90 days for EAD/AP. Some have been reporting in VJ that they are getting interviewed already for the AOS and yet no update on the EAD/AP front. If your GC arrives before the EAD/AP then you don't need the latter anymore. You can work and travel with just the GC.

It's a cliché already, I know, but at this point, we are all just in a waiting game.

If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Yayyyyy!! I'm finally relieved cause it has been 37 days since my Biometrics Appointment and 68 days since my Application was mailed out. Surprizingly, I didn't get any text or mail notification yet. Had you got yTess? Please share your interview experience when you are done with yours yTess. Mine would be soon after yours. Good luck!

P.S.: yTess, how do you change the number of days in your signature? Is it automated or manual?

Congratulations! You should get an update on your EAD by next week too but, im sure that's the least of your worries now. I did get email/text notifications when they set my date but now i think the system has a bug or something. Thanks i will let you know how it goes (my interview)
