Just receive an update today that my EAD card is on the way, expect to receive it by next week!!that was quick..

I got an email from USCIS that they've sent my EAD on may 12 2014 to my address but I haven't received an update for a tracking number and I haven't received anything in mail yet, is that normal.???

I think it's normal...after your current status, I think it will change again within a week to below example

The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on May 12, 2014. The USPS tracking number assigned is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. You can use this number at www.usps.com to view updates to the delivery status of your mail. You should receive your new card within 7 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, please call our customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Got an update for my EAD last night. Card in production finally! About time! Haha. AOS still under acceptance.

So I posted some of this somewhere else, but I'll ask here too. So My status changed for my AP that the card was in production on the 28th April, the EAD is still in review and the actual AOS is now in interview and testing stage.

Firstly, did anyone else have the AP status change before the EAD but still got the combo card? As much as I want to be able to travel, I want to be able to work much more so I'm hoping that they just didn't update but it will be the combo card.

Secondly, how long have most people waited to get the card after the status was changed to in production? It seems to be taking a while!

And thirdly, I had emails and texts when the AOS package got to USCIS, but I haven't had anything since in regards to the AP card and the interview. Is this normal? Was I meant to sign up for different notifications other than the form I sent with the package? I see that people have notifications that include the UPS tracking number for their cards, but I haven't seen anything of the sort! Any info would be helpful!

I don't know that your EAD is approved or not because your AP has been approved and EAD is in initial review. You need to sing up for case status updates on USCIS website, the form that you sent with package will notify you via text and email only once and that is for acceptance of your package, so in order to get updates after acceptance stage you have to sign up for case status updates on their site.
