Hi all,

I don't post very frequently but find your experience and posts amazingly useful. So thank you first of all!

I filed all 3 forms concurrently on 03/18 and haven't received any RFE which I assume is a good sign. My I-485 USCIS case status was moved forward to 'Testing & Interview' on 05/05. Does that mean that I have an interview coming for sure?

Also, I'm frustrated at the wait with EAD. I know that it's not been a very long time, but I'm sitting on a job offer and I'm worried that I'll lose it if I have to wait another 6 weeks to get my card. I saw that at least one person here requested, and was successful with, an expedite on the EAD specifically. Do you think there's a case for me to make a request?

I remember feeling this same way during the K-1 visa process. I can't wait for it to be over so I can start to live a normal life again!

Lots of people have been moved into Testing & Interview! I'm still waiting for any movement...still is early though. I don't except my EAD/AP to have any progress until June. Sorta surprised I didn't get an RFE yet, my brother got one for his i-845 because of joint tax returns filed or something like that, & I filed it the same way so was expecting the same RFE, but I guess it all depends on who is working on your case!

Yes that means you will have an interview. With job offer pending you can apply to expedite EAD.

February 28- AOS package sent. ( I-130, I-485, I-765)
March 5- Package delivered to USCIS Chicago.
March 11- Email and text notification with Receipt Numbers.
March 14- Hardcopy of NOA1 for all three applications.
March 21- Received biometrics appointment letter for 04/04/2014
April 2 - Completed Walk in Biometrics appointment successfully. (Original Appointment was for 4th April)
April 9- I-485 Case status has been updated to " Testing & Interview "
April 16- Text and email alert for case update for AOS interview on 22nd May 2014.
April 18- Hardcopy of Interview notice received in mail.
May 22- AOS interview, approved on the spot and got stamp in my passport.
May 27 - Approval notice of I-130 and I-485 in mail.
May 29- Received GC in mail.

ROC Timeline:

03/28/2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

03/29/2016: Package delivered.

03/31/2016: cheque cached.

'testing & interview' means u got it all right, now just wait for the date.

from the day u file till the day u have your EAD in hand is currently averaged at 68days.

I am feb filer, we all calculate this number in that forum

I'm new to this thread and am also a March AOS'er. We got our NOA1 3/25 and saw that our case status went into Testing & Interview on 5/7. I'm hoping we get our interview scheduled soon. Good luck everyone!

I got my NOA for my interview yesterday. Can't believe how fast it's going! :dancing:

17 March packet mailed (day 0)

21 March Priority Date (day 4)

27 March text/email NOAs received (day 10)

31 March hard copy NOAs received (day 14)

7 April Biometrics letter received for appt on April 28 (day 21)

11 April successful biometrics walk in (day 25)

29 April Testing and Interview ? (day 43)

8 May Date on NOA of interview schedule (day 52)

12 May received hard copy NOA of interview scheduled 16 June! (day 56) :dancing:

27 May email received stating EAD card is in production and my AP has been approved (day 71)

30 May email received stating EAD has been shipped, should arrive Monday! (Day 74)

2 June received EAD in the mail (day 77)

16 June INTERVIEW :dancing: APPROVED!!!! (day 91!!!!)

20 June email received stating Green Card picked up by USPS due to be delivered on Monday 23rd!!!

23 June my green card arrived :dance:

Total time from packet mailed to Green Card received 98 days!!!!
