Today is my actual biometric appointment but I cannot do it, because I have a cut on my finger. I went to my local office a few days ago and they asked me to come back only when it is COMPLETELY healed. It sucks.

Hey!

So, I filed 23rd March and had my bio appointment today. It was super painless and over pretty quickly.

So, now I'm waiting for an interview date...can anyone point me in the direction of a list of things I need to take with me to the interview? I know that this info is included in the letter I'll receive, but I like to plan way ahead for these things. Is there a guide anywhere on here or can anyone list it out?

I have tried all possible avenues to expedite EAD with no luck :(

- Called USCIS cust. service expedited - received standard general response in mail...too many such requests blah blah blah...they didnt ask for my job offer letter

- Called Congressman - faxed in documents, they have contacted USCIS...still no change...dont know what happened there

- Called USCIS tier 2 again today...with an earlier request denied...they said if i request again - it might delay my case...so i didnt go ahead

The company wants me to start immediately...aaahhh!!!

February 28- AOS package sent. ( I-130, I-485, I-765)
March 5- Package delivered to USCIS Chicago.
March 11- Email and text notification with Receipt Numbers.
March 14- Hardcopy of NOA1 for all three applications.
March 21- Received biometrics appointment letter for 04/04/2014
April 2 - Completed Walk in Biometrics appointment successfully. (Original Appointment was for 4th April)
April 9- I-485 Case status has been updated to " Testing & Interview "
April 16- Text and email alert for case update for AOS interview on 22nd May 2014.
April 18- Hardcopy of Interview notice received in mail.
May 22- AOS interview, approved on the spot and got stamp in my passport.
May 27 - Approval notice of I-130 and I-485 in mail.
May 29- Received GC in mail.

ROC Timeline:

03/28/2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

03/29/2016: Package delivered.

03/31/2016: cheque cached.

04/02/2016: Received NOA1 in mail, dated 03/29/2016.

I got an email last night saying my i485 was now in Testing and Interview phase! It's moving along nice and quickly, so far way faster than the December 2013 processing dates that the USCIS website quotes for Boston. Hopefully I'll have an interview appointment in the next few weeks! From looking at the February thread many people got their interview dates 1-2 weeks after entering Testing and Interview. Very exciting! ?

AOS from VWP

17 March packet mailed (day 0)

21 March Priority Date (day 4)

27 March text/email NOAs received (day 10)

31 March hard copy NOAs received (day 14)

7 April Biometrics letter received for appt on April 28 (day 21)

11 April successful biometrics walk in (day 25)

29 April Testing and Interview ? (day 43)

8 May Date on NOA of interview schedule (day 52)

12 May received hard copy NOA of interview scheduled 16 June! (day 56) :dancing:

27 May email received stating EAD card is in production and my AP has been approved (day 71)
