How do you view the available embassy appointments when you have on schedule?

My interview is 2 months away, but I'd like to reschedule for a closer date should one present itself. So, I need to know HOW to do that. Can I view them without cancelling my existing appointment?

Sometimes I can be dense, so please be specific. star_smile.gif

Yes you can, after you log on from your "dashboard" look to the lower left (if I remember correctly) there may be a date posted there, I say "may be a date posted" as sometimes nothing is available. You just have to keep checking, if an earlier date shows up then you will have to cancel your current interview date to grab that date (hopefully someone else doesn't grab it before you). (hope I got that right)

For future reference, you can log into the site, and if you refresh the page every few minutes it doesn't time out, AND it updates the "First available appointment" info on each refresh. I was able to move from May 6th to March 26th doing this. 46 days less!

Hi~

My fiance's interview is scheduled for May 8th right now. I want to move it up if something earlier opens up. But I don't see anything about appointment availability now that it is scheduled in. There's no mention of "First Available Appointment" anywhere that I look. I suspect that it's because there are currently no openings at all.

So my two questions:

1- Can you please tell me where should I be looking to see about appointment dates. (so I'm not just refreshing several times per day on the wrong screen or something.... headbonk.gif )

2- Will I be able to see the calendar of available days, or will I simply only see a sooner "First Available Appointment" and have to cancel my current one and then quickly book the closer one?

I'm lucky to still be with my Maganda Morena now, but will have to leave soon, so hopefully we can get this wrapped up soon. :-)

If you already made an appointment and are just looking to get an earlier date no it does not show the calendar like it did the first time you set your appointment. You will only see a small box appear at the lower left that will say the Next Available Appointment day. If there are No available days then that box will not appear.

If you want to reschedule and take an earlier day that comes available then it require you to cancel your appointment and then select reschedule. You have to go through a few confirmation pages to complete the rescheduling.

I did it but was scarred that someone else online at the same time would gab the new appointment day before I did and I would lose my original appointment. Not sure how that works but I was able to get the new date.
