Hello all,

I was getting everything together for our I-129F packet and I was using the "Step by step guide ono filing an I-129F fo a US FIance Visa" and under the Forms Needed to File for K-1 Visa the i-129F is a totally different form then the "see example" form under the check list (#3).

Can any explain why or which one is needed for me to get my Fiance from England to the states?! Im so confused and stress way to easily. clearly. Thanks bunches in advance!!! <3 !! xxx

You might have started two topics with the same question.:).. but this is what answered on your 'other' topic

they update the forms every now and then. If you look at that "see example" form you see at the top right an expiration date.

You will also see a expiration date on the form "Step by step guide on filing an I-129F for a US Fiance Visa"

use the one wich is still valid smile.png Hope this helps

ps don't stress, just stay calm and take the time to read stuff

Follow the Example forms here but use the latest version downloaded from the USCIS website. Do a Google search.

I second that.

This site proved to be very informative. You know, you need one I-129F, A G-325A for both you and your fiancee which both of you need to sign, and both of you need signed letter of intent....so on and so forth.

Use that as a guide and you will be fine...

Good Luck!!!!!!!!

I just opened the example form here on VJ and the I-129F available for download on the USCIS site. They are the same. Not sure what is different for you. You fill out one I-129F, the one you download from the USCIS site and use the example form here as reference for filling it out.

EDIT > Oh, I see. There was an old link left on the K-1 guide when Ewok updated the example form and guides a few months back. I will post about it to bring it to his attention. (Posted about it here > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/484175-small-mistake-in-k-1-guide/)

The actual example form is the correct one, if you get to it through the example forms link at the top of the forum.

OP, another thing that may be helpful is if you mouseover the fields on the form, it'll tell you specifically what needs to be entered into the fields.
