Yes you can. Pets are the only family members who do not require a visa!

We did. Check with exit requirements for your country and then entry requirements for the US for vet exam prior to travel. I know we had to do something prior to the travel.

Yup, I believe it's a K-9 visa

Sorry, couldn't help myself

And by the way, my two dogs are here in the US with me now, just visiting

Be sure to do the rabies certificate,1 year or 3 year shot- and if flying you will need a health certificate for the airline.

We brought my english bulldog over and paid $150 for a plane ticket for him. He did very well on the plane. I Second mitchanme's Post. Rabie shot at least 30 days before entering the US.

This photo in my avatar is an immigrant from Germany, and the poem on the Statue of Liberty sure applied to him. He was poor and very welcomed here, didn't even have to file an I-864. Didn't need a K-1 either. Did have his medical records, but no filing of that I-693, and never was required to have a green card.

No dealings with the NVC either with no limits on the amount of dogs you can bring here. Probably should be quiet on this issue, may have some new laws. So no dealings with the USCIS, NVC, nor the DOS.

Now bringing a member of the animal kingdom here that can walk upright, this is when you run into all kinds of problems and expenses.

We're planning to bring Wendell with us to the USA! We wouldn't have it any other way. Wendell is a bunny who thinks he's a dog. I'm way more scared about the government/airline changing the rules on international bunny immigration/travel than I am about my interview.
