yes.gifyes.gifyes.gif and don't forget the chickens or the spiders to.

Those guys are wimps, there's not supposed to be a fence around the horses. Half the fun is dodging horny stallions trying to kick each other's butts to get the mare.

Niki's gonna be awfully pissed off at you.....

For marrying a Filipina who's countrymen engages in this dastardly act......

You know how niki loves them horsies.....

One January, 2 surveyors in the polish mountains stumble across a lodge. Being cold and hungry, they gladly went in.

An older fat polish lady with a tablecloth- sleeveless dress comes out and takes their order.

The first guy orders 2 hamburgers.

The next guy orders a kielbasa.

The lady strolls over to the freezer, takes out 2 patties and clamps them under her hairy armpits.....

She explains that during the off season, everything is kept frozen, and that this is the fastest way to defrost them.

The second surveyor then said.....

"Um, cancel that kielbasa"

They do not fight them to the death, as the articles imply. They actually take very good care of the horses, because they need them to be in shape for the next village festival they go to. This is a business for those that put on the shows who have generally been in the business for many generations. You can make something illegal, but when its been a tradition for a thousand years, its rather hard to just stop it by passing a law. They also made eating dogs illegal, yet there are restaurants that openly specialize in dog meat dishes. I've learned not to judge what goes on in other countries by the standards of our own culture.

I'm certainly not going to deny it goes on in Mindanao. Its a long tradition now. Its been ended in the big city festivals since it was made illegal. But how it's portrayed by those against it, is a far cry from what really goes on. They do not fight horses to the death, horses are worth too much. If a horse is injured, the fight ends and the horse is treated. Again horses are expensive. Not only are the horses expensive, they're the livelihood of families in this business and the families that put on these shows really do care for the horses. Heck they're treated better than family members! But no one shows that side, they just show a fight, call it brutal, bloody, to the death, thousands maimed and killed yearly, with no facts to back it up, of course the pictures outrage people into believing anything they say to go along with it.

Contrary to the hype given in those news???? articles, heres a bit more of the reality of the situation.
