that's true. However, I'm a bit traditional.

1- I want to be the provider.

2- I want to be the one to fix things around the house.

3- Because it makes me feel better.

4- And I think it gives Tiff a great sense of security.

5- She knows who da man :)

<sigh>

You musta been reading too much Tarklar articles.....

My hubby is like that, too. He likes me to work (probably because he knows I like it) but he doesn't like it when I'm the sole provider because it makes him feel worthless, like he's not doing anything to provide for us. He comes from a very traditional culture, though, so I can appreciate that. I like that he wants to work hard for us, too. Makes me feel like our relationship and well being is important to him (as it should be, obviously). :) But, on the same note, I wouldn't mind if he wanted to be a stay at home dad, either, as long as we could afford it.

Maybe you or Darnell could help me out on how to fill up Form 8938 part III smile.png

I'm so busy with work this week.

Toothy dear....

Yo no estoy un accountantado, or el notario del taxo.....

However. I'm sure I could probably figure it out. (so can my dear thuggy gwei lo friend Darklar)

But you'd have to divulge your personal finance info to us....

You'd really be better off getting a real accountant. Preferable a CPA.

Oh I say CPA, because....

Did you guys know that in most states, anyone. I mean anyone can hang a sign out their door that reads "Tax Preparer" and charge you money for it?

it is all about communication and finding the right balance imo. If you don't talk about things...you can never be on the same page...on any page. Or if you are like a sheep and just do whatever you are told and internally hate it. What is the point in all that. Have a damn opinion and voice it, do something with your life so you don't wake up one day and realize that you did ####### in your life and there is nothing you can do about it cause you are 80 and can barely get up to pee.

before we sent in the I-129F, jonas and i were thinking that maybe he could come live in singapore for a while and i'd work while he focused on his writing. eventually we decided against it because getting a visa for him in singapore would be so much harder and left up to chance than getting the K1. but i'd have been okay with it because he wouldn't just be sitting at home slacking.

i don't need my man to be the provider (of course if he is and wants to be, that's an added perk), but i do need him to have some sort of goal, aim, dream. otherwise i would find it really hard to relate to that person.

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

Also, in most states.....anyone with a surety bond can hang a sign on their door that reads "Immigration consultant"

what surprised me is that you can teach with a masters degree. not that it is related in any way but ya..you made me think about it.

whadaya mean? you want a higher requirement for teaching? a masters is exactly that. A master.

most states let you teach with a bachelors degree. some states let you teach with a bachelors degree provisionally, requiring you to get a masters within a specified time....
