I'm so lost.

If you moved to NY why wouldn't you take your husband with?

He's a country boy and no want to go down the yellow brick road.

1 Hey Amazon, I ordered this toy on Friday at 12:15am, why you no ship yet?

sounds a little hypocritical.

2 Like if my husband got a job in Kansas and I was all 'look I know you just moved here from Canada, but I'm just not really comfortable moving to Kansas.'

2 No one would blame you for not wanting to move to Kansas.

1 I think Amazon hasn't won the ebay bidding yet.

The answer is about a 40,000 word piece. you wrapped in yer shawl and sitting in yer comfy chair?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

You got the idea from others here but to give it my own spin.

- he is afraid of change

- he dislikes big cities (despite the fact that he told me it doesnt matter where we go and refusing to talk to me about where we both want to move before I started applying - probably cause he thought I will just get a job near hear and nobody will ever call from anywhere else)

- he told me before my interview that he is not ready for NYC and should I move there then he would rather bus to see me every two weeks and when he is ready he intends to take the opportunity of almost free tuition (rest I pay of course...) and be perpetual student (mind you ...he did not get his high school diploma cause he refused to do homeworks or projects and continues to say it is the school's fault since he got A's and B's on the test they should not have failed him - so good luck to him on that one)

my reasons

- I will be stressed enough as is, babying another person while I am trying to get a hang of the city and new job is not something I want to do (if i get the job that is)

- it bothers me that he is just looking for a way to sit on his butt while I work and try to provide for us - makes me feel used so I wanna have at least 6 months to take care of things before he comes in and tells me that he really hates it and misses his mom, dogs and quiet life. (he is smart though I gotta say, now I know what he meant when he said " I always get what I want")

rant over...moving on.

he likes pizza a lot

oh god....not a good day today lol

1000 calories a day for a person of European descent is likely to send them into starvation mode. 1200 is the recommended minimum, bumped up with exercise. When I stick to that I lose weight reliably, but it is really hard to stick to 1200.

P90X makes me bulk out! I always gain weight and way too much muscle when I do it.

yer sounding more and more like you not want to do this. imagine all the amazing things you can eat under 1000 cal/day.

I haven't slept right for 2 days now....annoying.

all these interviews keep running thru my head. Hubs is doing his marketing pitch to stay in the little town near Columbus, asked what I would do if they offered me a job, then his mom tells me she is kicking him out if I dont take him with me to NYC right away if i take the job there....ugh...I dont have one offer yet and they are all deciding on what will happen.

I wish my middle finger did not hurt else I would use it to tell them how i feel.

She will kick him out???

She's told you many nonsense, stupid and hurtful things... I wouldn't believe in what she's saying till it actually happens.

You can always use the other middle finger ;)

lols true dat.

She wouldn't kick him out I bet...she was just trying to tell me it is my turn to take care of him and she cannot wait for it to happen. She is already talking about him quitting his job....and i am like "wow" put some breaks on that one...I got no job offers nothing geez lol.

At least I know why she was so nice and welcoming and sent me supportive emails ....until we got married that is lol

She really wants her other bedroom free...who can blame her. eh ? :D

I have a daughter just like that. She did get her GED though. Now she makes excuses not to work, excuses not to get her driver's license, etc...

I tried communicating to her mother that she was being spoiled as a child, and this would be the result, but was totally ignored and told keeping her self esteem high is more important. In my view, self esteem comes from doing things yourself on not being lazy and expecting others to do everything for you. I have no idea what my daugher will ever do with her life. I feel bad for her and love her, but she has to either get her butt in gear or fail on her own.
