I have a professional clipper for my late dogs....cost about 100 bucks 15 years ago? The thing is awesome. Don't get the 30 dollar ones, they don't work well

That was my thought on the cheap ones to, they probably don't work well. I was looking at them a year or so, but my old dog hates her nails getting clipped, so I thought leave it to the groomer. But with two dogs, now learning to groom is sounding a bit more appealing. We even have a school that has classes for dog owners to learn the tricks.

Two thermoclines no doubt and 40 degree water is damn cold, we've got that here. That 73 degree water probably isn't any deeper than 10 feet, if that far.

Lacking deep temp sensors on my vessel, I use a NY bight formula of 1 degree lower every 2 feet in the summer to fall months.

He has been pushing me to do a first Tri but I don't want.

I just don't want to swim in open water, I'm scared I will panic and drown. cray5ol.gif

My hubby has been training very hard for the marathon and Iron Man Madison(Wis) in Sept.

And hopefully he doesn't die from the training before the Iron Man

I don't want to shave them down though. Just need to do that if they get matted up. I want to groom them with the proper style for the breed. Although I do like my shih tzu with a puppy cut.

No poisonous water snakes in Minnesota. Only a few rattlers in the southern part of the state.

Philippines is loaded with sea snakes. Got one being real curious on dive, came right up to my face to have a look. My wife is super phobic about anything that even looks like a snake. Almost drowned me snorkeling one time when she saw a sea cucumber. Thats when I realized she'd never learn to dive. You cannot panic in dive gear, it will get you killed.

That, I dunno what to tell ya.....

Watch their foreskins when you clip their wee wee....

The body is easy, the armpits and ears are hard

I have female dogs, no wee wee to cut. The new one isn't spade yet either. That's more $$$$ out the window one of these days.

It's hard for a sea snake to bite you tho, I know that. I learned a little about diving in the marines. Went to water survival training. HEEDs bottles etc....

yep fangs in the back of the mouth, not the front, I believe. And they're not aggressive either, just curious at times. I prefer them not to be so curious they come visit my face still. The creature that made me the most nervous diving, was a box jellyfish. I was diving a mangrove swamp in the Philippines and a big one came swimming right on by me. I quickly vacated that part of the swamp.

Don't go diving in a swamp.....

They don't normally show up in mangrove swamps. And besides the mangrove swamp dive was one of my favorite dives of all time.

I'll stick to the tropics. The depth in that mangrove swamp at high tide was about 3 feet. We were diving it about 4 hours and still had half our air left we finally decided to get out of the water. Water temp had to be 90 degrees to. Here and there you'd find freshwater springs feeding into it, so you'd just hang there a while to cool off.
