Awesome, Comrade J. Good tidings for the 2nd interview go out to you.

So, some good news at least. Went up to CCRI in person and had a chat with the people running this teaching assistant course - as it's a non-degree (and therefore non-credit) course, there are no issues regarding my immigration status or finances. So I can enrol for Fall this year, and have done so.

Edit: And to clarify, the course fee doesn't change as well for the same reason. If I were doing a degree there, then my immigration status, residency and all of that would come into play.

that sounds great !! Good luck with studies !

Oh thank you J. I was having a great day until about 2, a call wakes me from my nap....ok fine, I was gonna go home around 230, then the fing phone started ringing off the hook......

1- about 5 back to back business related calls

2- incompetent new accountant

I start to go home

3- doctor (CBC back to norm)

4- father asking for this and that

5- nagging from Tiff

6- baby god daddy acting like old lady

7- neighbor asking for furniture connections

8- friend asking for DWI lawyer for his other friend

I smoked about 5 cigarettes in last 2 hrs.....

Bite me.

ps: I got 2nd interview in person in NYC with NYU...not sure what to expect aahhh

You can expect that they have narrowed it down to 2 or 3 people for a specific job, and they wanna talk to you again to make sure you're into it. And they will also ask if you have any questions. Such as salary and bennies. And they will also ask if you're ready, and what are your terms.

Summary. If they bring you in for a second interview. It means they like you.

Bite me.

And...I dunno why you want me to bite you....but OK <sigh> where do you want me to bite you......

J my offer for you to crash here during the interview is open (as is when you get the job, and you need a place to stay in a hurry).

But please discuss it with your hubs. I don't want any misunderstandings. You'll have your own separate studio in the basement. Along with various gym equipment.

Wife and I went to our favorite Olive Oil seller. Meant only to pick up a bottle of ubber high quality, freshly crushed olive oil. Walked out with multiple bottles of flavored oils and balsamic vinegar. There went hundred bucks in a hurry.

Lesson Learned: NEVER, EVER, go shopping with wife.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

My house is located 1000 feet from an express train that goes right to union square. Very convenient
