What roommates, you don't need a room mate.

And, is your sister hot?

well....if there is a place close to where work is why not live with some 3 financial dudes imo....

lol i think she is pretty, she is also 10 years older than me and has two kids and a husband

Oh, she's just a MILF then....

Financial guys don't have/ need roommates

Starving artists do. And, they don't make good roommates.....

NYU might give you a monthly metro card for work. They get a discount. Mass transportation is really good here. Don't worry about living 15 miles away from work here. Staten Island is the exception.

And stay away from The "boogie down" Bronx

You go live with the rest of the eastern block in sheepshead bay. Google it

The eastern block is as bad as the fooks, they're everywhere. And they're bad!

Google bay ridge, dyker heights, Bensonhurst. All good safe areas that you can afford. Bay ride train is slow, Bensonhurst train is fast. Dyker heights, no trains.

Gravesend is the neighborhood that bridges Bensonhurst to sheepshead bay/ Brighton beach

As you read more about Brooklyn, you'll say "wow man, Brooklyn is cool"

You'll do ok on a 35k salary here. If I show you what to do. Studio or walk in/ basement apt in decent area in Brooklyn, 700-1500. Sometimes utilities included. Metro card monthly unlimited 110 bucks? Cable modem 30 bucks....and you're all set.....

When I said what? That you wanted to punch me? Lol

If you do your own cooking, food here is dirt cheap

Owning a car here is very expensive

To go live with the eastern european fooks. God that just rubs me the wrong way lol Wherever I went I was alone without eastern european connections and I like it that way. As corny as it may sound..being "citizen of the world" works for me. I like learning new things, meeting new people and if i stuck with my own and only my own.....it would suck and limit me too much. In Switzerland I heard the whole "oh yah, you are czech we had a czech maid or czech au pair" and I wanted to punch them. I guess it is pride or ego talking....not sure tongue.png

Ok....that makes me calmer.

I gotta remind myself that I do not have the job yet, I don't even know where i am at with that.

again...thanks

no car for me. Too expensive for sure.

and oh yah i will cook biggrin.png

Oh, ok sorry lol.....

I don't mean to be insensitive to your worldly ways......

But if you get the job, and it hope you do, I'll help you get snapped in over here. And I'll get Tiffs good cousin to shuffle you around manhattan (he goes to school there) to get you used to it.
