It's a straight shot on 694 and there's really not much traffic. Plus I get to listen to Jill and Steve so I'm okay.

Just wait for the 694 construction to start again soon and you might be changing your mind about that drive. Even outside rush hour it was horrible, I avoided it like the plague all last summer.

Oh, I remember. My gym was in New Brighton and I would always end up sitting in traffic for longer than I was working out. GROSS.

my work is done. walk done. laundry doing itself and dishes washed and cleaned and i even came up with dinner that won't have me work on it for 5 hours. weee.

I did not have any drying sheets left sadly. If I had..it would all fluff no substance...

Unfortunately, Comrade Professor.. video games no longer last a week or two. More like a day. Unless it's one of the multiplayer shooters. Those last months, but they're also the preserve of kids who shouldn't be playing R-rated games who also scream down mics, and frat boys.

My wife has been complaining ever since I got the new dog shaved down. She wanted it to stay fluffy. But unless someone was willing to spend every weeknight and weekend day carefully combing out the matts for 3 or 4 weeks, it wasn't going to happen.

Well, in this case it's Metal Gear Solid 4 which is an old game by standards, but an old favorite.

And Civ V? I love Civ V. But this laptop can't run it. And I don't play that multiplayer because I typically suck at strategy games. I stick to playing against the computer and weasel my way to victory with diplomacy or culture.

Yep I always play against the computer, so I can play a bit here and there. And of course then I can always win. I don't have the time to marathon any games now, plus I'd get bored if I did.
