I personally feel Russia has a bit of a point in this case. Half of Ukraine is Russian speaking and culturally. Ukrainians can't seem to elect anyone but criminals to lead their government. Now they throw out the Russian speaking criminal, install a Ukrainian speaking criminal, and then start passing laws saying people in the Russian speaking areas can not longer use Russian as an official language. Given ####### hole Ukrainians have made of their country, can you blame Russian speaking parts to want to be part of even a nation as screwed up as Russia? They might still be in a ####### hole, but at least the ####### isn't over their heads.

I can't blame them.

But there are tons of Polish people in former USSR republics, because after the Second World War USSR, US & UK decided to change Polish borders, so 1.5 mil Polish people were left outside their original country.

In some countries (Latvia, Belarus) they can't speak Polish officially. They are forced to use local languages. They are forced to change their names from Polish to local. And we're (as country) help financially Ukrainian minority in Poland, while Ukraina doesn't do it toward our monority in their country.

And we shouldn't forget that Crimea was "given" to Ukraine in return of atomic weapon destruction. So now they're being left with nothing. Besides Putin won't stop wih Crimea. He wants the great USSR back. He wants to be the greatest emperor.

And I agree that they wasted the whole "orange revolution". That was their chance to change something peacefully. And they wasted such beautiful opportunity.

I think the big deal is not Crimea. But the next steps of Putin. Who's next? Moldova? Belarus? Estonia? etc...

Moldova. At least there's a part of it which wants to be a part of Russian Federation.

Oh, the funny (if we can talk about any funny things in such situation) thing is, that if Crimea joins the RF, they change their local time, adding 2 hours (to be the same as it is in Moscow). So looks like they will start their days two hours earlier...

And Poland too The Poles like to be invaded

yes, get the gear first, then when the thaw is complete move yer seed pots out of the house and into the ground. FIL can help you score empty plastic water bottles, turn into seed pots easily.
