Got a soft sided waterbed. Want to get a new one though, and thinking of downsizing from a king size to a queen. Wonder if my wife will be upset with her 7/8ths of the bed space getting smaller though?

I tend to push myself up against the wall...almost as if i was trying to walk thru the wall and out.

Right now she always, unless she's pissed at me, sleeps on my side of the bed. Her side is empty all night long, unless she's pissed at me. Blankets and comforters have appeared to have shrunk in size to. Buy a king size comforter or blanket, and it only covers the top of the bed, barely going over the sides. If I have a queen sized bed, I can buy king sized comforters and blankets and get them falling down the sides as I like them to.

oooh I see....solved the lack of covers problem by having three and hugging a body pillow with zebra patterns still facing away towards the wall though lol.

Oh there's plenty of covers when we're in bed, no issue there. Its how it looks when its made up during the day that bugs me. I want the comforter or bedspread to cover both the mattress and boxspring. Currently sized ones don't even totally cover the mattress. Granted its an extra high pillow top, but it should still cover a lot more than it does now.

Oh and my wife is so tiny, we really don't need near the space on the bed I have now.
