Caryh your wife must be a great cook it is obvious...I wanna take classes from her on different recipes from her country ! Been googling it just now...so many things...if only she was closer I would bother her..and there..your social part is taken care of biggrin.png

I've learned to cook some of the things she cooks, but its really hard to learn from her. She just goes to work, throwing things together with no measurements on anything. She just adds until it looks or tastes right. Most of what she cooks has no name at all, she just looks at what she has and makes something from it. And it almost always tastes really good.

Its amazing what some teenage girls can look like when they do themselves up. Makes it dangerous for us young men. When I was about 20 in a bar one time, I brought home some woman afterwards. Found out a week later was 16 and in high school. Her dang brother was at the bar, why didn't the guy warn me!

Don't you know you have to card all the women you want to take home?!

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

I might have done something similar to that at some point, maybe younger. whistling.gif

Well, except I was trying to pass myself off as like 16/17.

Well this was probably like 1947, so carding wasn't probably a norm!

I hate it when you gotta keep the woman just for the food.....

well may be you shouldn't fool around with her Filipina friends anymore, what say?

Actually a Filipina friend got a bf with serious roving eyes. He happened to be roving them towards my wife a bit much, so her former friend blamed her. Nice big Filipina fight over that one. And no one does drama like a Filipina!

ya..I can understand that, my mom does the same thing. If i asked her for recipe she just makes it and lets me taste it so i know how it needs to be...makes it more fun i suppose. :)

you got me thinking about a whole new cuisine ...I am reading up ! I need a library of cook books...

You don't need a library, you've got the internet and youtube today.

oh but I like books...and flipping thru with pics and then having it in front of me while I cook..I am old fashioned in some ways....blush.png

It is like a relaxer...sitting on my couch and looking at pics imagining how the ingredients might taste and whether it would be worth trying.

Aaaaand...Jada gets weirder.

Get a tablet. Add in a bunch of eCook Books.

I was a serious hard core want the hard cover in my hand book reader. Couple years ago I switched, now I can carry my library with me. So much nicer.
