We got to get the vanity from one special order company, tiles from another, bathtub from another, etc.

Sounds like an appalling waste of money, sigh man.

I am apprehensive about the gift buying for our first trip back. Although I have already drilled into hubby several times that each member of his immediate family only will get ONE MODERATELY PRICED gift each, I have heard too many bank crippling horror stories from other Ecu spouses to believe that this has actually sunk in.

Love me some Who. :D Tried to get hubby into it, and he watched the first few seasons of the modern series, and then lost interest in exchange for Dexter. PFFFFT.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

I'm actually thinking on breaking down and doing that. I have two dogs that need grooming now, so I'm thinking its better to learn how and do it myself. I'd still get them to the vet for shots though.

Seemingly it takes a real man to soak a dog for 30 minutes,

then cut the wet hair off with a 1 dollar pair of scissors bought at the dollar store.

Or a man with more time (as it's really a 1.5 hour job)
