hahaha and grrrrr.

I have fought the good fight, introducing a western fertility doctor to a chinese fertility specialist 2 years prior, had longish consults and knowledge-sharing, and she was 'prepped' about 2 weeks after hitting dirt here.

If I dinna do the prior work, it would be yet another slog in the 'this is how we do it here in America' subject - I'm just happy for the two years of prior work with these medicos. The planets aligned and I THINK things are growing. Will know more at the end o next week. Oh, and it wasn't any artificial insemination, so don't go there. If you even vaguely remember my scant posts the first week, i did mention we were busy with fertility stuff. You know, you remember - we're busy and I canna get to a keyboard. Or I'm exhausted and I canna get to a keyboard.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Ya, I really not want to jinx it. Still, there be physical manifestations of being pregnant, so I'm happy. Will have more to talk about next week.

for us, we always talked of having daughters. My son is grown, she's childless. Sure, it's fun raising kids when yer a geezer, but still, it's what we wanted to do. My work had me travelling till I sold off two companies, so we planned , meticulously planned, her pond jump.

Oh good. I always wanted twins (2 birds with one stone smile.png )

Best of luck!

Professor, Juna stay away from dang gui if trying for child!

Or use heavily if trying to get rid of a child. I did research before giving that to my wife. Appears to have done a decent job through the first cycle. Wife doesn't want a kid until we make a trip back, because a child would certainly push off a return visit. Or maybe she's just planning to dump me when we go visit, and doesn't want to be stuck as a single mother in the Philippines? I told her if she tries that, I'd marry her sister and bring her here though laughing.gif

I think that view changes for most people. It's instinct. It's what we do...

dang gui is birth control?

No, it thins the blood a bit. I'm not an herbalist. But I know it's not for women trying to get pregnant, or is pregnant.

But highly recommended 1 month after giving birth.

poll question: did you all always want to have kids, or did your views change after marriage/after a certain age or point in your life?

I had always wanted to adopt children...in fact, if i had a lot of money (I thought) I would adopt like 10 kids (all different ages) all from

different countries and we would have a big house and yah.

Having my own ? That always felt like a huge risk and responsibility...always worried that I will bring my fears and hang

ups onto my children so I was leaning towards the no side and then I met my hubs and decided to lean all the way to

no side since his issues and my issues combined would land a child in a nut house and adopting he wouldnt since he cannot love the kids as his own and money aside...or lack thereof.
