So we're considering starting the k1 process and I started filling out forms and such so I have a few questions.

1) For G-325, when it asks for employment in the last 5 years if there are gaps where I was unemployed (like a few months in between jobs) do I have to specify that I was unemployed during those dates? Because if so I'm going to need an attachment page just for a few lines. Also for the beneficiary, I had a job for a year that was (if anyone from argentina is reading) "en negro", do I put it on the list or not?

2) On I-129f when it asks about us meeting in the last 2 years, do I just write everything in an attachment, and if so do I write something in the form? Also that would just be saying all the times we saw each other and who traveled where? How about other details like where we stayed and what we did? Also do we say how we met anywhere?

3) About evidence or meeting, we have some boarding passes (I have most for my trip there that was the most recent, and he has some from the 4 times he came here so far), the passport stamps and I guess I should include pictures? I have a billion pictures so it's hard to figure out what I'm looking for. I have rental leases for appartments and hotel reservations but they're always under only one of our names, bus tickets for another town where we went on vacations to the beach under both of our names and then random tickets and receipts. Is that enough?

4) About evidence of the relationship, I was wondering if sending each other letters or cards is really important? Because we never do, we call each other on skype everyday, even sleep with skype on, talk on aim and send each other emails. He sent me a present once but stopped because of the taxes customs charge me, and I bought things for him and got them delivered to his house, but no actual mail. Also what amount of chat logs and call logs would be ok to send? We've been together for 2 years now so you can imagine logs are neverending.

5) And about the financial part, right now my fiance has a job where he probably makes under the amount required so he's never filed taxes, he's a student same as me, but he's looking for a higher paying job now. When he gets a different job where he makes enough, do we still need a co-sponsor? What to do about the tax requirements for prior years?

Anyway, that's all my questions right now. Sorry about it being so long, just hoping to get it right on the first try if possible.

1. I'm not too sure on the answer for this but I added an attachment because there were times I was unemployed so I thought to add that. It can't hurt, better to be safe

3. If you see the guides for k1 it should give you an idea of the type of evidence. Try not to send a billion pictures though, maybe 10 will do

4. Go easy with your chat logs too. Maybe 5 pages will do even that may seem too much. The main type of evidence is of you two meeting up such as boarding passes passport stamps etc

Yes list those gaps and label as described.

Also for the beneficiary, I had a job for a year that was (if anyone from argentina is reading) "en negro", do I put it on the list or not?

Don't know since I don't speak that language.

2) On I-129f when it asks about us meeting in the last 2 years, do I just write everything in an attachment, and if so do I write something in the form?

Describe one meeting. Save the multiple meeting descriptions for the interview.

Also that would just be saying all the times we saw each other and who traveled where?

Save for the interview, but many do give tons of details. All depends.

How about other details like where we stayed and what we did?

Some do and some do not. Can't hurt but be short and sweet.

Also do we say how we met anywhere?

Save for the inteview unless you're planning on front-loading the petition. Some do depending on the Embassy.

3) About evidence or meeting, we have some boarding passes (I have most for my trip there that was the most recent, and he has some from the 4 times he came here so far), the passport stamps and I guess I should include pictures?

Passport stamps and boarding passed (not flight itineraries are best.

I have a billion pictures so it's hard to figure out what I'm looking for.

Pick out the best six.

I have rental leases for appartments and hotel reservations but they're always under only one of our names,

Does establish that one person was in a location. Now find another that establishes that person also in the same location.

bus tickets for another town where we went on vacations to the beach under both of our names

Super evidence.\

and then random tickets and receipts. Is that enough?

Choose a few.

For us, I rented the apartment where we stayed, so had that address under my name. Had her purchase a pizza with delivery and saved the receipt which had her name and the apartment address. And both dates were within our date ranges of our meeting in person. Voila, we were in the same place. at the same time. That combined with a photo of us in the apartment put it all together.

Yes, I knew about these requirements before the trip and therefore we purposefully generated this type of great evidence.....besides the passport stamps and boarding passes.

4) About evidence of the relationship, I was wondering if sending each other letters or cards is really important?

Do most people whose relationship is developing and then becomes one where you intend to marry each other send gifts and cards? Of course.

Because we never do, we call each other on skype everyday, even sleep with skype on,

Take some Skype video snapshots.

talk on aim and send each other emails.

What is the content of the emails? It should show a real relationship that is leading to marriage.

He sent me a present once but stopped because of the taxes customs charge me, and I bought things for him and got them delivered to his house

Delovery receipt? How about a photo with the person with the gift?

, but no actual mail. Also what amount of chat logs and call logs would be ok to send? We've been together for 2 years now so you can imagine logs are neverending.

It's not about quantity, but all about content.

5) And about the financial part, right now my fiance has a job where he probably makes under the amount required so he's never filed taxes, he's a student same as me, but he's looking for a higher paying job now. When he gets a different job where he makes enough, do we still need a co-sponsor?

Not if that new income is suffiicient.

What to do about the tax requirements for prior years?

You send them or not. Many folks are students and have the same financial background. Current income is key.

Anyway, that's all my questions right now. Sorry about it being so long, just hoping to get it right on the first try if possible.

Thanks for the answers so far :)

We don't send each other gifts that much mostly because we give them to each other when we see each other so again, no mail, and then I do a lot of diy gifts so no receipts for some, but I guess we'll figure something out.

Put yourself in the shoes of the officers. Would you want to wade through tons and tons of redundant stuff? I sent in 3 pictures and minimum docs. It's quality, not volume. I got NOA2 in 14 days.

I sent in my Brazilian VISA and the Brazilian entry/exit stamps from my passport to prove I was there and the pictures from my trips (3), even tough there were 4 trips. I thought I had more than met the standard hey were seeking. If they don't believe that, they won't believe anything, no matter how many pages. I also sent some recent phone records with our calls highlighted to show we are still in a relationship. That's all they want to see.

It's quality, not volume. You don't have to mention every little redundant thing and send in every piece of paper you have.

All of the above is my personal opinion.

I think where you application goes also plays a part into a quick NOA2 bec California Service Center is known to have more quick approvals compared to the other service centers
